Marketing Coordinator

Job Description 

The Marketing Coordinator will provide marketing and business development support to the Charlotte, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina offices as well as be a key member of the marketing team for firm wide marketing and business development initiatives.  

Essential Duties:
• Coordinates prospect lists, follow-up actives and reminders in a business development database to  be maintained by each office;
• Will occasionally be required to attend and coordinate functions outside the office and after normal business hours;
• Responsible for attending client feedback meetings with the office MP or other attorneys, as 
requested, to take notes and coordinate follow-up;
• Coordinate research to help identify business targets and strategies given priorities established by the firm;
• Coordinates office sponsorships, memberships and community involvement
• Coordinates all aspects of office seminars, receptions and events 
• Assists with website edits as needed 
• Assists with the firm's social media efforts including posting to Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter 
• Assists with weekly queue of approved content for ClearView Social program
• Assists with the firms six active blogs via the Wordpress platform
• Maintains the firm’s subscriptions to content distribution services Lexology and JDSupra. Tracks monthly data and analytics
• Assists with tracking marketing departments projects for all offices including managing the monthly tracking of the firms sponsorship spend  
• Assists with requests for proposal (RFP’s) and coordinates marketing materials/packets as needed
• Coordinates office media and public relations with Director. Distributes office press releases using the Cision platform 
• Assists with office advertising placement
• Assists with internal and external communications such as Client Alerts
• Assists with ticketed events/business entertainment opportunities by office 
• Assists with office promotional product orders
• Assists with new attorney marketing orientation and on-boarding
• Assists with research/competitive intelligence on prospective clients and targeted industries
• Some occasional travel required

Experience Education, Experience and Skills Required:
• Bachelor Degree in relevant area preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in law firm or professional services marketing preferred
• Proficient in Word, Excel, social media tools, email newsletter templates, WordPress, etc.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal skills required
• Needs to work well under pressure and be an excellent problem-solver and team player
