Artists and filmmakers gather to analyze and discuss The 48 Hour Film Project as a platform to grow visibility for Charlotte as a cultural center among the world’s largest film festivals.

Each year more than 130 cities around the world compete in The 48 Hour Film Project. Each city sends their winning film to Filmapalooza, The 48 Hour Film Project’s international film festival. 12-14 films are chosen from this festival to premiere at Cannes for a chance to win $5,000. Join our expert panelist to discuss elements of each film and why it was chosen among the best films.
